"Not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization" I have more than fifteen years of legal experience. I am admitted to practice in all state courts in Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. I have been a member of the American Academy of Attorney-Mediators since 1996, and I am a past Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Southern Methodist University School of Law. I received an undergraduate degree (B.B.A.) from Baylor University in 1986 and my law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1989. I belong to the Baylor Alumni Association, the Baylor University Golden Wave Band Alumni Association, and the Baylor "B" Association. I was born in Dallas, and I am a long-time member of the Forney community. I belong to the Forney Chamber of Commerce and I am a Director of the Forney Economic Development Corporation. I am also a member of the First Baptist Church of Forney and am involved with the Claybon Elementary Parent- Teacher Organization.
